In die nat van die strand
weerkaats figure
van spelende kinders
en vervaag
totdat ‘n brander
die palet herstel
en ek en jy verby stap –
hand aan hand.
Ons behoort aan mekaar
totdat ons hare
- eendag -
soos die branders lyk.
