Die Vuurhoutjie
’n Uitbundige lig
laat jubelende skadu’s
koggel teen die muur.
’n Kruipende vlam laat
’n swart spoor krul
agter ’n bakhand
teen die wind.
Skroei my,
soos jy,
toe jy my seergemaak het.
